Jan Clausen will read from her two new poetry collections. From a Glass House reflects a pervasive fragility and our responsibility to local and global histories, while If You Like Difficulty unwraps the gallows humor and smiley face of the wars of the new millennium. Tsaurah Litzky offers her newest collection, Lake Of Love, which concerns eros and existence post-September 11th. The jam is hosted by Vittoria Repetto, the hardest working guinea butch dyke poet on the Lower East Side. Open microphone to follow, with readers invited to deliver up to 8 minutes of poetry, prose, songs and spoken word.
